My latest design 'Hestia's Flame' is to be published in the Australian Magazine 'Embroidery and Cross Stitch'. Issue no. 16-2 which goes on sale on the 29th of January 2009. There are some examples of previous issues at the link below.
It's is called Hestia after the Greek Goddess of fire and has a real sparkle to it.
I am obviously really excited about this and look forward to seeing it when it comes out.

Congratulations Vicki!! That is fantastic news! Now you will definitely have a big head because of this well deserved honor. Maybe one day I can brag about something similar! Congrats again!
Thanks - I think I'll leave the big head until I can actually make a living out of it though, in the meantime I'm just crossing my fingers that it's the start of bigger things.
Ellen - that's fabulous teaching hardanger, the more people who know the art the better in my opinion, it's such fun. I was supposed to be doing some classes but hey fell through, must look into it again.
